Out with a bang!

It has been an incredible year for Crafts and Company,  In the spring 2 became 7 as a collective was formed to take the project forward.  It had become too big for 2 people to run and Coral & Fiona were delighted at the offers of help.

Since then the project has gone from strength to strength and a full review will close the year as well as begin to map the new year ahead.  However, we have one more event this year and we hope it will be the best yet.

On Saturday 11th November in Whiting Bay hall 11-3pm we are hosting our very first Christmas Craft Fayre.  We have over 20 stallholders booked all offering wonderful handcrafted gifts.  Every stall with have a ‘Deal of the Day’ to attract the keen eye of the ‘Early Bird’ Christmas shopper.

We are having a pop up Christmas tearoom with lots of yummy treats just to allow for that wee pre-season treat that we all probably need at this time of year.

There will also be a Crafty Tombola where you can try and win some craft materials perfect for your next creative project.

There will be a chance to get involved with our current charity campaign stitching for Disability Africa.

This is an opportunity for the islanders to come and support handmade on Arran at its very best.  This is our chance to say thank you to all who have supported the project in 2017.  People often ask us ‘did you get a grant to set up Crafts and company ‘ or do you have an employed coordinator.  The answer to both of those is NO.  We are all volunteers doing our very best to make Arran a ‘Crafty wee island’ …….. as well it should be.  xx
